The model was introduced in 1994, and most of the versions of the Audi A8 featured the Audi trademark, it had multi-tronic and tip-tronic automatic transmission. The latest generations of the Audi A8 was built on the D4 platform. The car was first introduced in Europe and it became available in North America. and unlike the other models of the car, which were built on the steel platforms the A8 was built on the Audi space frame, which significantly reduced its weight .the saloon and sedan version of the cars were introduced in the A8 model and the A8 was the first car that was built entirely on the aluminum platform.
