Aprilia RSV 1000R Mille
The Aprilia RSV 1000R Mille is a superbike that was produced by APrilia, during the 1998 to 2003 era, and the bike had 3 version of it the RSV mille, R and SP models. The 1st model of the bike was launched in 1998 to 2000, the new featured RSV mille from 2001 to 2002 and where as the last model was produced in 2003, the first model was fitted with a 100 cc V twin engine, which was produced by the famous Austrian company the Rotax, the second version of the bike was the first larger displacement motor bike produced by aprilia, that used to make only 250 cc engine. The most unique feature that made the bike different from other was the feature of slipper clutch,

 

 

 

which was powered by using a vacuum on a throttle that was closed, from the manifold, which gave slipper the clutch effect. The RSV Millie R version of the bike was a lighter model of the bike, introduced in 1999it included thee carbon fiber mudguards,

 

 

 

a shorter sub frame having no seats for the passengers, an Ohlin’s suspensions and steering damper and forged aluminum wheels. The SP version of the vehicle was the sports production version,

 

 

 

manufactured in 1999 and was made especially for the “superbike world championship”. It was a specially designed, small stroke version of the V twin engine, built with the help of Cosworth.
