BMW K1200R

The BMW k1200R, is a standard super sport motorcycle bike, which is also known as a naked bike, produced by the German manufacturer BMW, producing an output of 163 horse power at a 10250rpm,from its transverse mounted engine ,a 1157 cc inline 4,producing a torque of 127 N-m. The bike accelerates from 0 to 60 miles per hour in 2.6 seconds; the cylinder block is inclined towards the front wheel by fifty five degrees to reduce the entire motorcycle’s body centre of gravity. The bike features an optional electronic suspension adjustment system,

which gives the rider an option to adjust the suspension for a better grip on the road and for the varying loads on the bike. The bike is also available with ABS brakes, which is optional. The bike was launched in 2007, and at the times of its launched, the parent company BMW claimed the bike to be the most powerful naked bike,

The bike is also available in a number of colors, and in 2008 BMW USA launched an apple green color option to the K1200R lineup, whereas in UK dark graphite, and white aluminum is also available,

At the end of 2008 the car was replaced by the new model the K1300R which featured a 100 cc engine, producing an output of around 175beak horse power As of 2009, both the models of the bike have now been discontinued.
