for thousand of years. The killing is carried
out by professional performers usually known
as the “toreros”, performing various
moves and skills within bullring in order to
repress the bull. The moves are performed at
a very close range with the bull and in some
cases it has resulted in serious injury and
sometimes even death to the performer. The bull
fight is usually ended with the killing of the
bull by the performers,
who jab a sharp knife
in the spinal cord of the bull. In Portugal
performers try to grab and hold on to the horns
of the bull as it runs wt them with rage an
anger. The performers are dressed in the traditional
colorful dresses with long beautiful hats. There
are various styles in fighting the bulls that
are practiced all over Europe .the classic and
the traditional style is the one in which the
bull is killed.
Apart of the tradition, bull
fight still receives heavy criticism and is
considered as a barbaric and ruthless sport
in which the bull dies a stressful, slow death.
