Ducati 1098s

The Ducati 1098 is a sports bike, manufactured by the Italian producer Ducati, the bike was launched in 2007, and had 3 different versions of it ,the 1098, the 1098s and the 1098R,wheres as the first two models were replaced by a new model the Ducati 198,which had a new engine and new feature with it in 2009.the Ducati 1098 was design by the Ducati designer Giandera Fabbro The Ducati 1098 features almost same feature as that of its older versions the 998, such as the horizontal placement of its headlights, non integrated exhaust system and the single sided swing ram. The bike is a more traditional version of the Ducati bikes, as most of the Ducati fans criticized the design of the model 999.

All the version of the bike are available in a number of colors including in black, yellow and re, the 1098s version also cam with a tricolor, that included the colors of the Italian national flag. The bike is a 1099 to 1198 cc depending on the type of model, with a L twin cylinder and four valve per cylinder,

liquid cool that is capable of producing an output of 160 horse power. However the R version of the bike is capable of producing 180 horse powers. The overall weight of the 1098 is 173 kilo grams The 1098R bike has won the superbike world championship in 2008,

along with the British superbike championship .the Ducati bikes has won thirteen world championships since the superbike challenge was launched in 1988, and got the title of the best manufacturer title.
