FERRARI ENZO

Ferrari is known for producing high performance sports cars since 1929, cars that are made for tracks and for your bedroom walls. Everyone dreams about it, and only a few can get behind its wheel. After filling all the trophy cabinets with F1 successes, it was time to put the technology and experience to test by producing the first commercial sports car based on Formula 1 technology. In 2002 Ferrari introduced a car that would change the rules of sports car engineering, a car that would put other sports cars to shame, the only car to choose an owner not vice-versa so even if you have the money you can’t have it until the company decides that you deserve it.

It was meant to be a tribute, a tribute like no other, a car named after the founder of the company ENZO Ferrari. It was initially announced that Ferrari will produce 349 Enzos at a tag price of US $659,330.

The next step was to choose the lucky 349 drivers; most of those had previously owned Ferrari F40 and F50.

Later the company decided to produce 50 more taking the number to 399 while the 400th Ferrari was auctioned for $1,274,229 to raise money for the tsunami survivors.
