Ferrari 360

He Ferrari 360 is a mid engine, two seater sports car designed by the Italian automaker Ferrari. The Ferrari 360 is a predecessor of the Ferrari 355, and itself the car was replaced by its successor the Ferrari 360, Ferrari in collaboration with Alcoa produced and entirely new and top of line aluminum space frame chassis that was forty percent stronger than that of the f355, yet twenty eight percent lighter despite the increase in tens percent in the overall dimension. Along with the stronger frame was the more lighter pin farina body, replacing the old flip up lights with a rounded appearance that was there in the 1960’s.

the new V8 engine that was a common sight to all the versions, was only slightly larger and more powerful than that of the f355,was 3.6 liter that produced an output of 400 break horse power,

but the lighter frame and the stronger chassis added stiffness and rigidity to the car at high-speed, the car accelerated from 0 to 100 kilo meter per hour in 4.4 to 4.6 seconds,

making it much faster than its predecessor. The engine of the car was replaced in its successor the f430 car, which came out in 2004.
