It is a part of the universal health care system
which is built around the principle of universal
coverage for the all the members of the community.
This system was earlier was an insurance company
until it recreated itself into a system that
intend to make health care available to all.
Germany has the oldest universal health care
system. This system varies according to the degree
of involvement by the government in care of
health. People with lower income salaries who
cannot afford to take care of their health such
health care systems help them through their
employers which fund their low income employees
with financial assistance.
Each year Europe
spends millions on pharmaceutical research and
development in order to provide its people with
the best health care which is now slowly declining.
Taxes on health care facility are very low and
in some countries of Europe it is removed permanently. Every employer in Europe provides its employee
with the basic health care package which covers
all of its medical care and insurances benefits
which are almost free. Employee old age benefit
programs are also on the rise in order to provide
health facilities to retirees or old age employees.
Dispensaries are available all across Europe
thanks to the health care system. Different
aids awareness programs are held with the help
of local media. The government hands out insurance cards to
the nationals who can avail them during bad
times. Health care systems in Europe should
invest in its health system. However, with this
economical problem, it’s quite difficult
to provide every benefit and facility to the
aging population. But the European health care
still is better than other systems.
