The
Honda CBR 1100xx is a superbike, commonly
known as the super blackbird, produced
during 1996 to 2007 by Honda. During
the 90’s bikes produced by Honda
were considered to be the fastest
production bikes. The Kawasaki ninja
ZZ r 1100 was its competitor. The
CBR was powered by a 1200 cc, liquid-cooled
DOHC inline four-cylinder engine that
was capable of reaching speeds up
to 177 miles per hour. The bike was
named blackbird, after the world’s
fastest aircraft that was designed
by lock head martin, but soon after
the launch of the Suzuki hayabusa,
the title had passed from the CBR
to the Suzuki hayabusa, as it was
able to exceed 188 miles per hour. |
