Known as the hurricane, the bike gained significant importance from the world’s bike media for its significant quality of usage and high powered sporting/touring capabilities. The bike was powered by a liquid cool DOHC, 1000 cc engine, which produced a massive output of 130 break horse powers and was capable of reaching 2960 kilometers per hour, provided the right conditions. The bike was manufactured from 1987 to 1999; the hurricane went through three major dimensions. The hurricane is a large and a heavy bike weighing up to 235 kilo grams. with some air intakes to help cool down the engine of the bike. The front end brake of the bike uses the 3 piston nissin calipers where as the rare end is fitted with a single disc.

 

 

 

The engine of the bike was largely unchanged through out its history. It works on the standard inline 4 cylinders 1000cc, four strokes, DOHC, sixteen valve, liquid cooled power engine.
