Honda CBR1000RR

Commonly known as the fire blade the 1000 RR was the replacement of the cbr954RR designs, only some parts were similar to the new model. The bike was powered by a 1000 cc inline four, with a significant bore setting and different stroke capacity, with the new ECU controlled system, a dual stage fuel injections and a centre up exhaust with a new electronically handled valve. The chassis of the bike was all new, including the frame of the bike with a fine steering head structure, with radial breaks and the fuel tank under the faux cover. Honda introduced a Honda electronic steering damper which was Hondas first every system which helped in improving the stability of the bike itself.

The engine of the new bike was positioned in a way to reduce the front end bias, which helped the bike less wheelie prone under hard acceleration.

The 2006 model carried changes which featured the new front suspension, rear suspension with new linkage ratios, new lighter swing arm, the improved front fairing design,

Double springs for the intake valves, Higher compression ratio, new intake and exhaust porting. Where as the 2007 model carried the changes made in 2006
