Jaguar S-Type
The jaguar s type is a mid sized executive car, introduced in at the Birmingham motor show in 1998.the name of the car was a revival of the previous model of the car; the s type 1963.the s type jaguar was designed by Geoff Lawson and is currently based on the ford Dew platform. The new styles model had a unique distinguish sing feature as its logo appeared to on top of the grille, on a U shaped centre console inside. The later models of the car had their logos on the grille, The supercharged S type R, had a 4.2 liter engine, V8 produced an output of 410 horsepower and could accelerated from 0 to 60 miles per hour in almost 5.3 seconds.

 

 

 

The supercharged version was introduced just to compete with BMS’s m5 and the Mercedes E55 AMG. the s type feature a built in spoiler in the rear, side skirts, alloy wheels, front apron , built in fog lamps, a monochromatic paint and a mesh grille. The R type was amongst the most expensive s types produced by jaguar. The latest version of the R type featured a pulley system which helped the car produce an extra 20 break horse power,

 

 


Later on in 2003 jaguar introduced the six speed manual transmission, with a 3.0 liter engine, producing an output of 235 horsepower. The 2003 model featured a revised dashboard and a grille with a jaguar logo to give the car more jaguar type look.

 

 

 

In 2004 the year saw a new model ,with its redesigned front a and rear aprons, with a slightly modified grille, aluminum bonnet and a 2.7 liter V8 diesel engine capable of producing an output of 207 hp. the model featured revised switch gear and radio instrument, which were all redesigned.
