The supercharged version was introduced just
to compete with BMS’s m5 and the Mercedes
E55 AMG. the s type feature a built in spoiler
in the rear, side skirts, alloy wheels, front
apron , built in fog lamps, a monochromatic
paint and a mesh grille. The R type was amongst
the most expensive s types produced by jaguar.
The latest version of the R type featured a
pulley system which helped the car produce an
extra 20 break horse power,
Later on in 2003 jaguar introduced the six
speed manual transmission, with a 3.0 liter
engine, producing an output of 235 horsepower.
The 2003 model featured a revised dashboard
and a grille with a jaguar logo to give the
car more jaguar type look.
In 2004 the year saw a new model ,with its
redesigned front a and rear aprons, with a slightly
modified grille, aluminum bonnet and a 2.7 liter
V8 diesel engine capable of producing an output
of 207 hp. the model featured revised switch
gear and radio instrument, which were all redesigned.
