The
Mercedes SLR McLaren is a joint venture,
produced by Mercedes Benz and the
McLaren automotive, designed and built
in Portsmouth and the McLaren’s
technology centre in England. The
term SLR means sport, light, racing.
The car was inspired by the old Mercedes
SLR version of 1955. The company discontinued
the production of the SLR McLaren
car in 2007, where as the roadster
version of the car discontinues in
2009.the brakes of the car features
a sensotronic system, the brake discs
are carbon ceramic that produces less
heat, friction and provides a better
stopping power, better than that of
steel brakes. |
