Another negative point is that personality
conflicts between teachers and student in the
high school. Some students have difficulty to
understand a teacher which creates a loose situation
for the student and thus results in failing
the courses and if there’s only one teacher
for than it really creates a mess for the student. And as a result the student doesn’t have
a chance to get to know the teacher that well.
Another point is that in high schools students
face fewer opportunities to participate in extra
curricular activities as only the bright students
may find it easy to participate in them, it
may be harder to stand out and be noticed. Competition
can be healthy yet unpleasant at times and may
end up in envy and beyond that. And as a result
students might get discouraged and have a bad
attitude towards studies,
All and all in the end that matters most is
the attitude of the student towards his life
and how ambitious he/her is. It really wouldn’t
matter if the high school is creating problems
if the student himself is not interested and
vice versa. Though European schools need to
work on the above mentioned points if they want
to prosper.
