Neuschwanstein Castle, Germany
The castle is a very famous and is visited by thousand of people every year; it is amongst the most popular tourist’s destination all over the world. It is a nineteen century palace, and has a magnificent and beautiful landscape, is located on the rugged hills of Bavaria, Germany. The place was built in honor of the worlds renowned composer Richard Wagner, by the king Ludwig 11 of Bavaria, at a time when castle had no defensive purposes, as the king was greatly inspired by the composer, the many rooms of the castle was influenced by the characters of Wagner. The thirds floor of the castle truly reflected how the king was inspired by Wagner opera’. The 4th floor known as the singers hall,

 

 

 

consisted of many Wagner’s characters. After the death of the king Ludwig, the palace was opened for the general public, who paid a particular fee to visit the place. Almost as much as sixty million people visited the place annually. And about six thousand people visited the castle each day,

 

 

 

during the summer’s time. The palace has appeared in a number of movies and the move, sleeping beauty, the castle in it was an inspiration to the Neuschwanstein Castle. As the castle, for some people looks like a fairytale castle, the castle interior is very beautiful. It is surrounded by a lush green garden, has fourteen rooms, that were constructed and finished during the times when the king was alive, the rooms were beautifully decorated and designed, a two story throne room,

 

 

 

but unfortunately the king died before the completion of the of the castle, so there was no throne in the room. Million of people each year is it the castle in order to discover the historic tales behind the castle, as many facts and tales about it are not known, even today.
