Olympique de Marseille

The football team is a French professional football team, located in Marseille. The club cam into being in 1899and has spent most of its time in the top tier of the French football teams. The clubs has been French champions for about 9 times and have won the coupe de France 10 times and became the 1st and the only club among the French to successfully win the UEFA champions league in 1193. But during 1993 the team was relegated as some player so of the team were involved in bribery issues, as a result of which the team lost its domestic trophy but were able to won the UEFA champions league. The club became the French champions again, in 2010 under the captaincy of Dider Deschamps.

The clubs home ground can obtain around sixty thousand people at one time, the stde velodrome stadium, where they have played since 1937but later in 97 the team was bought by a business named Robert Louis dreyfus.

The clubs kits colors are the white shirts and shorts with dodger blue socks but this combination was changed and the club is now playing in white shirts,

shorts and socks and the blue color was further lightened by the Adidas logo. The club enjoys a large fan base, with the highest all time attendance amongst all the French football clubs.
