Palace of Versailles
The palace of Versailles, located in France, Is an iconic and a beautiful place for tourist, it is largely famous for its huge size and the fairy tale park that was made around it. Earlier the palace was the official residence of the France kings, Louis XII originally used the place to keep his armory, it was this palace through which the king practiced its power and Europe destiny was decided from here. The features of the palace consisted of the five chapels known as he chapels of Versailles, an opera which was the most ambitious buildings of the time, the hall of mirrors, grand apartments, the king and queen,

 

 

 

at that time made new apartment that were later on considered to be grand apartments, the apartments were designed on the Italian style by the architecture, who was greatly influenced by the Italian designs ,there were seven rooms all together known as the grand apartments had the following configuration i.e. the chapel was the first followed by the salle ge garded, the anti chamber,

 

 

 

the chamber, the oratory and the petit cabinet, that was the last one and each were named after the known planets at that time. The roofs of the rooms depicted the heroic actions of the king, as the events of bravery that happened in the past .each rooms had its own particular theme, and soon after the construction of the hall of mirrors the configuration of the grand apartments changed,

 

 

 

as the chapel was transformed into a the salle des gardes. The queen’s room had a secret door which was near the jewel cabinet, which led to a secret escape passage, when the times were harsh. Even today many tourist visits the place in order to find the hidden secrets behind the castle, as even today many if the historic activities are unknown to many.
