The plane has around 13000 solar cells along its wing which collects and stores the energy from m the sun which in turn help power the plane to take flight. The body of the plane is made by carbon fiber, which helps it in flying easily; because of the light weight of the carbon fiber .the plane has four engines and is a single seated. It has recorded the highest flight by a solar powered plane.

The Europeans believe that they will be able to make a round trip across the world on this plane. The successful solar technology has opens up a lot in other areas than direct flight, such as long term orbiting satellites for instance, that can go up for pennies on the dollar compared to current efforts. However, more test are to be carried out on this plane till t becomes, almost perfect,

the engineers now hope of improving its technology and building a better, more modified plane. Previously the plane made certain errors on its flight and one or more of the solar plates were destroyed but this time the flight was made successful and it landed safely and easily in Switzerland after flying through out the night.
