The Pantheon - Rome, Italy
The pantheon building is one of the oldest and amazing buildings of Rome’s, it was built in about 125 Ad and is still standing today, earlier it was a beautiful temple to all the gods in Rome but it was later converted in to a church, the most cherished and amazing feature of the building is the, mass concrete dome, which is the largest dome of the world and is a thousand years old and still is the largest dome, which was made up of mass concrete. The designed of the vast concrete structure is amazing, the dome is around five meters thick at the base, the name given to the building ‘the pantheon’ was because of the large statues that were created around it.

 

 

 

The building, approached by a number of steps, in front, has big pillars that give it the look of the several Greek temples, there are three rows of 8 pillars, each one of them fourteen feet high, and behind the huge pillars is the main body of the temple, the inside of the temple was basically made to resembled it to the archives of heavens ,

 

 

 

consists of tombs of the famous artist Raphael and the several Italian kings, the marble floor of the temple is a typical sight of the ancient Romans. On the ground floor here are several seats in the middle and around it are the statues made by the Romans, and they were the god of the seven planets.
